Randy Orton Suspended for Sixty Days

John Pollock / May 30, 2012 - 7:39pm

The WWE has announced on their website that Randy Orton has been suspended for his second violation of the company Wellness Policy and will be gone for the next sixty-days.

Orton's first suspension came in 2006 and places the WWE in a unique position where Orton will have two strikes against him when he returns and company policy states that a third violation is grounds for termination. This is the same position Jeff Hardy was in when he returned in May 2008 following his second violation but was still booked like a main eventer and even had the title put on him.
